About Fundación Artistas Unidos

Fundación Artistas Unidos has been active in the community supporting artists in gaining exposure through a number of venues, including the The Artist Series, which until recently was held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Doral (Our "Hands Sculpture" was donated to the hotel, honoring former hotel manager Jose "Pepe" Diaz and is featured in the lobby under our "Artist Series" banner), the inauguration of the City of Doral Government Center, exhibitions at the FROST Museum and Coral Gables Museum... as well as other local events. We are also members of the newly formed Doral Cultural Center.

The Fundación’s executive and members include: Aguasanta Erminy, Josefina Larrazabal.

Fundación Artistas Unidos is an organization formed just over a year ago for the purpose of promoting art in all manifestations and helping to incubate aspiring artists from a variety of backgrounds and experience.

The organization has a further mission to promote and raise money for programs related to art therapy. The philosophy of Fundación Artistas Unidos is that art is vital. Through artistic expression, the individual can reach their highest potentials both physically and mentally. Furthermore, the effects of artistic expression impact not only the individual, but also communities where individuals are endowed with the channels and resources to express themselves artistically.

Our goal at Fundación Artistas Unidos is to help communities expand culturally and to promote the growth and health of our children and to help aspiring artists find their path. Furthermore, our intention is to do so within the highest standards. Serious artistic expression is not a novelty.
